Under 'ambitious' in the dictionary, the name of Bart Brentjens would not be out of place. As a former Olympic mountain biking champion (1996, Atlanta), his career in cycling did not end when he quit as a professional in the World Cup circuit.
Together with his wife Petra, Bart wanted to help a new generation of young mountainbike athletes. So, in 2008 he founded a new professional mountaibike team. Their ambitions have certainly not diminished. Winning a medal at the 2020 Olympics is one of the shared ambitions of the team.
Bart's logo is based on his own initials, but also the shape of a chainlink in a bicycle chain. This shape is symbolic for his role as teammanager in the team. Studio Zodus takes care of the printed communication materials of the team. Displays, ads, team magazines and fan materials.
In collaboration with Studio Zodus, we created a professional identity from the start of the team in 2008. Something that has grown with the development of the team up on to where we are now. That is why we are still very much satisfied with the branding and its consistency and relevance. Its still in sync with our Olympic ambitions for Tokyo 2020.
